I'm going off the precedent of the attorney involved in the civil case and constantly trying to financially shakedown celebrities. It's not about justice, and more so framing public perception through the media. He did the same BS feeding info to Hollywood Unlocked, Jason Lee wasn't having it. He attempted to do the same with Akademiks, Ak called him out.

Agreed. When it comes to trial lawyers vs negotiators, the former is able to understand the technicalities of the process, set traps for the prosecutor and stay focused on the strategy. Often from the get go the playbook is set and this involves all aspects from jury selection, disclosures, witness characterizations and ability to be agile and pivot in the process.
Depends on the jurisdiction. They really don’t have to be rich, they just have to be in the in crowd. I know small towns where there’s a specific lawyer that goes golfing regularly with one of the county judges. If you want a favorable judgement then people know to go to him. Its stuff like that.
