I will give Hov props for signing Dez and that's where it stops. Dez was due for a huge payday regardless of Roc Nation I really don't see why stars of that level need Jay when Jerry Jones could do more for Dez than Jay ever could as far as branding. This whole Roc Nation builds your brand/ star making power is way overhype, how many commercials that superstar in the making Robinson Cano been in? When the last time you even seen Cano anywhere or in anything not baseball related?

You can check my history on speaking about Roc Nation or black sports agents in general so I'm not even going to address that particular point.

My point was that Dez was already lined up for a huge payday regardless of the sports agent. He is arguably the best WR in the game so what bargaining power does Roc Nation add in terms of money. This isn't baseball, NFL teams have caps to work within. So if it's brand building/star power that the Roc is bringing what have they done with Robinson Cano their biggest signing to date?

If Roc Nation wants to maintain their rep off the 'biggest deals in the off season' Dez has to take get the biggest contract available regardless if it's the Cowboys or whoever and other teams are in better cap space than Dallas that has to sign Dez and Demarco plus whatever other roster spots with expiring deals.
