Let’s be reality “locking down your state” isn’t really a thing anymore. Kids have access to way to much information and each other. You gotta recruit the best of the best period. Setting up shop in any one state ain’t going to get you there alone.

Louisiana different 2019 was a team mostly of under recruited Louisiana kids, Justin Jefferson 2*, Clyde Edward Helaire 3*, Lloyd Cushenberry 3*; not to mention that team could have hade Devonta Smith, Dylan Moses and Travis Ettinne had they got everybody from the state.
Based on what? I’m telling you that’s not reality for an extended amount of recruiting cycles

The only coach that is able to come to Louisiana and get players consistently is Nick Saban anyone else it’s either LSU coaching situation is iffy or LSU didn’t want the kid
and you didn’t even gotta lock down the state, 2019 was one of the most talented teams ever and that team still missed out of Devonta Smith and Travis Etienne

Louisiana kids are pushed culturally to go to LSU. Everyone from the kid to family members feels the pressure for them to sign with LSU or possibly face repercussions. It's worse in some areas of the state than others but it happens. But Kelly is going to have to find some way to connect with that fanbase. But this is still just a really weird fit to me. We'll see how this goes.
