It started with claims that Notre Dame used ineligible players against us in a game and then Michigan effectively blackballed them from any BIG schools playing them. It’s why they’re not in the BIG right now. I don’t know if it was due to anti-Irish sentiments but that’s where a lot of the bad blood stems from.

Not splitting the $14M isn't that big of a deal, and shouldn't be a surprise b/c ND got to keep the whole payout from a BCS bowl when other teams had to split it up, and that amount I believe was $13M, with inflation factored in, was even more money.

It wasn’t a BIG deal before all this conference money kicked in for the BIG and SEC. We literally watched a conference collapse over money. I’m telling you - FSU, Miami and those other schools will begin to feel a way. If Notre Dame didn’t get to play schools like them, they wouldn’t even have the opportunity to be in the playoff.

Ohhh you right...I'm not considering those schools. ACC has about 10-15 years left before they're big east status. Miami, FSU & Clemson will be looking to join whoever once the inevitable B1G x SEC Division 1+ is formed for football.
