Or Enzo either for that matter. Think their last shot is probably in Impact or MLW
Dunno. If I'm AEW, I'm setting up a Backstage-style bit on every episode of AEW Dark, and two-three weeks in I'm debuting Enzo in the same way as FOX did Punk. Why? Because it would piss CM Punk off to be likened to Enzo Amore. But more than that... I actually think that's the best use you're gonna get out of Zo in 2020. Sit dude down, let him cut promos on behalf of a bunch of AEW talent that can't do it themselves, and if he doesn't act wildly out of pocket for a few months, you have him jump in and act as a Jimmy Hart type for a few of the talent he's been more vocal about supporting who should be your people least able to cut promos on their own. Until then, you let him talk up Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy and Statlander and all this so the people watching that supplemental stuff get something out of it.
And if, in a year, you got the man in an AEW ring cutting a promo about how a newly-turned Wardlow finna run MJF a fade for all the vile shyt MJF has done... well. Dude's made you some money. And if he washes out two weeks in... it's AEW Dark, you gave it a shot and nothing of value was lost.
Cass is a complete wash at this point, but I think if someone wanted to, there's still money to be made in pro wrestling with Enzo's ability to talk. Always room in wrestling for someone who has a puncher's chance of dropping a modern classic promo if they have a mic - not saying Enzo's ever dropped one of those yet, but... puncher's chance. I don't think Enzo's personality is gonna help him get the chance, but I do think there's some sliver of light for him and a major league. Cass, though? Cass big-done. Dude better hope they got Footlocker ref shirts in Big & Tall.
