Robert Downey Jr made $75 million off a film role. Try doing that on a TV series. The goal is to get into movies and get big bucks.
What'd the rest of the cast get? Compare that to Emilia Clarke making Ant-Man or Winter Soldier money each episode this past season of GoT. The average actor/actress is not seeing any where near what RDJ made. Back in the day of certain people actually being box office draws they were making 20 mill a movie. The consistency and security of working a popular series definitely overshadows a nice two or three checks a year hoping for a role in a blockbuster movie

How is west world? The name always made me think it was some western shyt
Solid show...

1st season was excellent but the 2nd season they doubled down with the timeline hopping and it just didn't work...

I'll be watching the 3rd season but I'm on the fence about Paul being in it...

I didn't say they got that same amount but all of them started on TV and all got paid. I'd rather be a huge movie star than a huge TV star. Wouldn't you?
Who is a huge movie star nowadays? Why are the huge movie stars of days past increasingly choosing to do TV/streaming shows? I get that the allure of the silver screen still exists, but dwindling box office numbers and the amount of A-list actors/actresses and directors, choosing to delve into television, shows that the reality is different. When Martin Scorcese is directing a Netflix film starring Robert Deniro and Al Pacino, or when Steven Soderbergh is making an acclaimed Showtime series, I think we've gotten past the idea of TV being the minor leagues.

I’m not sure how that happens, pinkman didn’t know Saul

I think its going to get past that point though. They had some flashforwards where hes working at Cinnabun, I think they'll end up getting to what happened to him personally during BB and after he goes into hiding.

I would love to see more Cinnabon/future scenes from bcs

I guess they might show bb from sauls perspective which will be interesting and that’s where pinkman probably appears
