Yeah, that shytNeed for speed
I should have been surprised but I'm not. Very few TV actors in shows as huge as BrBa are able to get beyond their signature role, and even fewer have been able to transfer to the big screen. Cranston seems to be one of the exceptions, and has seemed to transition well outside of BrBa.
I think Aaron Paul knew that BrBa was the apex of his career. If you go back and watch that documentary on making the final season called No Half Measures, or even some of the press and interviews as the final season was about to air, it looked to me like Paul was especially sad. Everyone seemed sad that it was ending but there was something about Aaron Paul's vibe that seemed like he was legit depressed, partially because he knew that was the role of a lifetime. I know I'm kind of reading a bit much into it and maybe he was just sad it was ending but I've always thought that deep down he felt like his career would drop off a bit after the show ended in those season 5 interviews, etc.
I'd love to hear @hex 's opinion on it
Aaron Paul had so much momentum coming off BB and wasted it. his fall off was epic
He fukked up by agreeing to do a movie with KID CUDI
I’m not even into movies and tv shows and even I know that’s a bad look
he picked roles too carelessly
All facts. Only movie that Paul was in that I can remember off the top is that movie w the ugly silver Mustang
There has never been a prestige drama in history where the cast continued to be popular after it was over. A couple of people? Yeah, and even then it's rare like Idris Elba and Michael B. Jordan.
So I think they knew their careers were "over" on that level. Bryan Cranston, who is obviously the main draw of the show, point blank said his obituary will read "'Breaking Bad star dies'", no matter what else he does in life. He's still spending "Malcolm In The Middle" money so I doubt he gives a fukk. The rest of them either had shows that got cancelled (Anna Gunn) or ended (Dean Norris) or are on sitcoms (Betsy Brandt).
I think Walt Jr. became a model.
Aaron Paul is the main character in season 3 of "Westworld".
Granted I doubt he'll ever be a big time movie star but cats are talking like they seen him working at Subway or some shyt.
Fred.
Didnt he have his own show on hulu? Heard thatwas decent
And Bryan Cranston didn't fare too well himself either :dayum:Aaron Paul had so much momentum coming off BB and wasted it. his fall off was epic
I fox with that movie where he was a racer or some shyt.
Think Michael Keaton was in it too.
You thought the guy who flexed his acting chops being a dumbass was going to blow up?Aaron Paul had so much momentum coming off BB and wasted it. his fall off was epic

No, the majority of Hollywood is trash and Aaron Paul happens to be part of said trashBryan Cranston, Giancarlo Esposito, and Bob Odenkirk were the only great actors on Breaking Bad. We tend to get caught up on how great a show is and give credit to everyone in the show when usually it's a handful of actors carrying the show in addition to great writing, direction, and cinematography. There's only a few shows with truly great ensemble castsyou say that as if everyone in Hollywood is a talented actor. I think he was hoping to fill the void left by Paul Walker, small white action guy.
he should have played it safe and did a pg13 blumhouse horror movie directly after BB. Not a video game movie
He's doing well on Broadway. Just won a Tony Award, as a matter of fact. Got pretty rave reviews playing Lyndon B. Johnson a couple years ago in "All The Way" too. Cranston is doing fine. Paul....? If Westworld doesn't work out, he's probably done. And Bryan Cranston didn't fare too well himself either :dayum:
There are plenty of actors/actresses who continued to have great careers after starring in prestige dramas. Aaron Paul is just trash, breh.
