I didn't say I worked in a black Area. I said I worked in the Hood. In the Central Valley, CA, the Hood is always multiracial, but by far the most dangerous people are blacks.

What study would that be? What you people who like equivalency fail to realize is that black people can be racist but white racism is far more damaging and wide spread than black racism. Don't try to equivalize it to feel better about yourself.

I think they are being generous about those percentages. I think it's more like 65/35. The good news is that 50 years ago it would of been 90%/10%. I think what's happening is a lot of White Kids are growing up seeing Actors, Athletes, TV, Hip Hop, Movies with more black faces. So it's hard for a Racist Parent who grew up in a time that Blacks were suppose to be inferior and tell their kids to hate Black people when they love Kobe, or Tupac and Biggie or Will Smith. I think Black People owe a great deal to Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, Oparh, Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy and Will Smith cause what those people did in the 80-90's was huge in pushing the race forward and changing perceptions of the Black Race on a large global scale. I'm happy that white kids are growing up with a Black President.

It's going to be hard for Racism as more and more ethnic groups grow in population. But I have to be honest. I think sadly for America, it's never going to end. This country was built on Racism, mostly against Blacks. Sadly it's in America's DNA to have a hatred for the Black Race. I hope and pray it can change but I don't know if it will happen in my lifetime. With that said as a Black man in 2012, things have changed but Racism is different now, it happens more on a economic scale and behind close doors. Where as Being Black in the 1950's or the 1860's it happen more out on the open.

Eminem is the perfect example of how Racism can change. He obviously grew up in a Racist household (See the Racist Tapes) but it was Hip Hop that changed his perception of the Black Race. Hip Hop has done a lot for race relations than more people want to admit. I never understood the logic behind hatred of Darker skinned people. This is not just a U.S. thing either. Even in Latin America, there is heavy racism against Dark skinned folks from P.R. to D.R. to again South America. Even the whole "Good hair, Bad hair" thing, this still goes on today as many Black women are scared and ashamed to have their natural hair cause Media and Programming says our hair is bad cause it's different from white hair.

It's scary the psychological damage Slavery and Racism has done to Black People over these hundreds of years. Some white people kill me with the whole "Get over Slavery", do you think someone would tell a Jewish person to "Get over the Holocaust"? I think the problem is White America in general doesn't want to address Racism so they say Blacks are only complaining and Racism is over. Even when Barack got elected, I knew that was going to be the new "I got Black Friends" excuse. Now it's going to be, "I'm not racist, I voted for Barack". Look at the election now. Romney is killing Barack with the White Male vote. But Barack is winning everything else, Women, Blacks, Latinos, Asians, Gays, Youth. To me that proves America will always have a problem with Blacks. Especially Black Males. NaS was right when he wrote "Fear of the Black man's dikk". There is nothing scarier to them then Black Men who are intelligent. It goes against all the stereotypes they built up for years.

This post is powerful but if the bolded happened they would scream anti semitism at the top of their lungs and whoever said it would be done.

exactly. And statements about black racism discust me because they are never out of actually feeling repressed or hated on by the majority simply because they are a certain race.
People (basically c@Cas) make statements, such as that, as a simple minded counter to the fact that most whites hold certain feelings towards people of color....

Or they (ironically) just want to add that on to the long list of justifications of why they should hate (or dislike) most black people.

Even if it was true about black racism.. And even if it even had an impact on society or anything in life at all... most black people who hold feelings towards whites aren't blindly just hating the average white person. They either don't like C@cas (which is a certain type of white person who deserves it).... or they just feel slighted by the society they live in and are natually discusted by the fact that the dominate racial group in that society doesn't like people who look like them. Also, black people usually don't like that the majority of people in the upper classes of society don't like them either, even most black people in the elite.

Let me start off by saying that.

Secondly no racism is worst than the other. Racism is racism.

Thirdly, if AA's got their ish together none of this would be a problem. Until the crab in a barrel mindset is terminated, we will continue to be fragmented and powerless.
