What do you mean by this? How do you expect a small and powerless minority to escape their situation on their own? It would be a miracle if Black self-reliance were enough to solve the problems in the Black population. That's not now reality works, here or for people anywhere else. There isn't a single historical precedent for something like this. Black Wall Street was destroyed, Black businesses post-segregation were destroyed by various governmental policies, and Black life is still a target. Black voters still are actively disenfranchised. You seem to be completely ignoring the fact that the odds are actively against Black people, which means isolated Black activity has next to no chance of accomplishing anything, even if it is an essential part of the solution. That's a plain, empirical fact that is backed up by every failed attempt at Black self-improvement in American history. All that "nobody cares" talk is precisely part of the problem- it's the reality of things, but it's also a completely anti-Black mentality.
So what's your solution? Reparations?
, sorry bruh, not happening. If you expect other groups of people in this country to put black empowerment at the top of their to-do lists you're going to be waiting a long time, unfortunately. Everybody is out for self first and foremost, period. Even a lot latinos, who often grow up in the same neighborhoods as black people, and under the same conditions, with the same struggles, often say racist shyt about them and look at themselves as being "better." What does that tell you? If you admit that "nobody cares" is the reality if things, then you can't argue with it. Every oppressed group has two choices, make moves, or stay on that treadmill. There's no point arguing about black voters being disenfranchised...we know who the vast majority of black voters are supporting anyway
these liberal politician have black voters by the balls - promise them everything, secure their vote, give them nothing. Without fail. It's even more of a joke now that we actually have a black
president. Yeah, your President is black, but your situation is no better. You can keep blaming republicans and racism for all of the problems black america faces, but that's not progress. Don't you think it's time for black america to stop pledging their allegiance to politicians and other groups who don't give a fukk about them and start making a real effort to to take education seriously, pick better role models, save and spend money wisely, etc? That's anti-black? I dunno man, that sounds pro-black to me
