Of course he doesn't. 50 was outside the prime 90s hip hop hierarchy and is a part of the New York rap is falling off era of hip hop.

50 caused excess beef for record sales, and then gave the South an opening to drop club hits. He basically blackballed NY from ever going on top and it wasnt until Nicki Minaj in 2010 until another major NY artist manage to blow up

Facts

There’s a clear line of demarcation of coming up through the NY “Tunnel era” of being a New York MC and those who followed after its closure. You saw it clearly when the Lox faced Dipset.

50 was in the beginning of that New York hip hop fell off era of hip hop. He resents not being in the space Wu and others filled.

Crazy, after the South blew up, NY pride was gping down fast.

It was Ja Rule, out of all people, who's career was suffering, who took initiative of NY, made "New York" with what the streets loved, which was Fat Joe and Jadakiss in late 2004. It was a hit and a classic (for Kiss :lolbron: ), but crab azz 50 did everything from getting a nationwide buzz, ans that pretty much let the South got 100% domination in 2005 and beyond.

Like you said, you can tell that he is pissed that his G Unit brand and his rappers of Yayo, Banks, and Buck could NEVER EVER match the like of Onyx, Ruff Ryders, Wu Tang, or even Rocafella at their primes. He still holds grudges on any (black) artist that dont kiss his ass, and he still don't see eye to eye with Method Man over this issue with Puff.

This whole issue with Puff is bigger than Puff himself, according to Curtis. He's going back to his old ways for attention and quick $

50 cent career blew up because He was associated with a west coast legend. Not because he was from New York. When Dre left the picture he suffered musically way more than snoop. You can complain about snoop albums but you can’t deny he still pushed out hits. Can’t say the same for 50.

I also noticed what when Eminem was in rehab from late 06 to late 08, was when the barrage of Game dropping "One Blood" Remix on top of Banks floppi g was pretty much the deathblow of G Unit's run. By 07, 50 was cooked and Kanye was certain to kill his music credibility.

Why tho? Is it their alleged beef back in the day?

Beef, on top of 50 hating on most of NY that Wu was cool with (Ruff Ryders) and Yayo running his mouth dissing Ghostface, saying that he had a ghostwriter during his first 3 solo albums on top of throwing shade at GZA, it was certain that it reached this point. Wu dropped their first 4 albums from Late 1993 to late 2001 that had a run longer than 95% of the industry also bred jealousy.

50 is on the long list of people who benefited from Dre. I would say Snoop was the “Gangsta” version of mc hammer. 50
In no way has surpassed snoop. Snoop is the superstar. Between 50 cent and “in da club””? In da club is the “star” not 50 cent… When you talk about snoop people don’t just mention one song.
