Shut the fukk up. Kanye is more significant than 50 will ever be. All 50 did was continue the legacy that NWA, Death Row and snoop had done a decade prior. Eminen was a white boy that could rap. Hip hop did not need 50 cent.Nelly was a superstar during that era. 50 brought nothing game changing to Hip Hop. He used DR Dre for his biggest hit and fell off without him.

Bullshyt, 50 impact was the equivalent of Snoops for the 90;s, why brehs just want to lie and be delusional? The album sold 872 k first week, had two number ones, one of the most iconic songs in rap history, and songs like Heat which influenced the later generations of Drill.

Massacre sold 1.15m in first week and literally is the 2nd biggest selling album after MMLP first week, around the same time he wrote hits for The Game, brought out G Unit albums that all went platinum, brought out sneakers, brought out a film, Lloyd Banks went platinum, Young Buck went platinum, and this is after having one of the biggest most anticipated mixtape runs in rap history. From 2002-06 50 Cent was untouchable, facts.

His influence musically is more profound than Snoop to this modern era, without a shadow of a doubt.

I can't wait until 50 dirty laundry come out. It's way past time for somebody to take this c00n down.

Snoop was the first rapper to sell 800,000 first week back in 1993, without him you wouldn’t have a 50 Cent. It’s funny because he was the one who sold that much after. Snoop paved the way for all the gangsta rap acts, NWA also was the first to pave the way but not sales wise.
