God damn being in that last section to fall must of been a nightmare

It might but the rest of the building will likely fall when the hurricane comes through anyway so it's best to try to have some kind of "controlled" demolition of it now before the storm comes and weakens it further.

The corroded pool deck collapsed in and that basically pulled the legs out from most of the building... only the sturdy elevator shaft saved the one portion from collapsing.



I wonder if a specific event started this domino effect (sinkhole, car hit a pillar..) or the laws of physics just couldn't hold off anymore.
