Yes and I remember when I was real little not understanding why each night before I went to bed, my mom had me pray:

"Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray the Lord my soul to keep.

If I should die before I wake
I pray the Lord my soul to take."

:mjcry:

I understand that prayer fully now though.

no mo indo, gin and juice
I'm on my way to Chino,
rollin on the grey goose
Shackled from head to toe
25 with an izzl, with nowhere to gizzo,

I agree with this. Looking at an article about this on DailyMail, the pictures of the exterior issues of the building is absolutely mindblowing considering the avg place in there was $650K. You got cracks all through the place, exterior coating chipping off, no support beams on them balconies, water problems, etc. That place should have been in top notch condition.
Exactly. Developers and maintenance should be sued for millions.

The stories coming out are so sad, especially the ones where the people were up and aware of the building starting to collapse. This lady saw the pool suddenly drop into a sinkhole and called her husband screaming before the line cut out.

This is making the landlord situation that much worse. Like, where are they in a time like this?

They're getting their lawyers together because they know what's about to happen. The other landlords in the area are probably doing the same thing.

Guessing she must have been in the indoor pool area cause the one outside is still intact mostly.

Looks like a realtor just sold a property in that building on 6/17 for over $700K. Hopefully they didn't move in or was on the side that didn't fall.

EDIT: That property went down with the collapse.
