In georgia folks eat grits or oatmeal. Cream of wheat has a tiny little section in the grocery stores around here, like 2 boxes wide. Meanwhile there are 3 shelves for grits.

I only eat grits. Not just cuz I'm a nicca from Charleston, but it's so versatile.

You cant have fish and oatmeal, or shrimp and cream of wheat

Grits go with em both, seamlessly though.
