Salvador Allende directed by Patrice Guzman. Very well done. Allende was an idealist. True Marxist/communist who focused on the poor workers. Good friend of Castro. Needless to say Nixon wasn’t having it and bankrolled Pinochet.name of the documentary?
US right and left are clueless about what happened:
1)Lula has been in power basically 12-14 years. His VP was a disaster because some is his policies ended up being horrible. Other issues are that his party ended up having too much corruption and didn't regulate bad actors in Brazil. Lula himself is popular because he did distance himself from some of these issues. Also his first term did bring positive changes and made the tax codes much better for revenue collection purposes.
2) Bolsonaro is a grade A idiot when it came down to legislation. He just couldn't be a figure head, he has to insert himself and his allies. How can a former military leader and a bunch of religious fanaticd run a country as big as Brazil especially during Covid times? these times call for good political administration, not a clown. He was a rejection of the political establishment but a complete idiot. Trump is a clown and probably a crook but he does have SOME real world experience when it comes to administration. He's not an idiot, ignorant but not an idiot by any means
Say a whole bunch of nothing hoping no one caught you saying trump got real world experience when it comes to administration brehs…
Supreme bozo you are
Bro he’s been running a literal crime syndicate for the better part of 4 decades.. Everything he touches is a grift… Trump been cultivated by the rooskies the moment he touched down in Moscow back in 1988… he comes back to america taking out front page ads on American foreign policy when previously before going to Russia he was too busy running with NY mobstersTrump has more experience especially when it comes to campaigning. His entire business is literally promotion but he had some operations chops from running an international real estate company. Bolsanaro has none of that at all and Brazil still is dealing with Covid19 and can't use their nature resources to pick up the slack from Ukraine (hopefully it will). He also alienated independent small farmers especially indigenous ones.
Trump isn't stupid, arrogant and ignorant of the world but he isn't that stupid. He knows how to promote and market himself since that essentially what real estate he was into. And yes i know he didn't own the buildings and got his creditors like Chase to own them. He is corrupt but he will still play a major role in US politics and policy.
Maybe I'm wrong

thank god this piece of shyt got voted out. brazilian politics is very fascinating. lot of similarities with the US. both large important nations that are somewhat adrift.
