Like i'm sure Fox didn't just start looking at the ratings since the offer came up...the history is there

WWE sometimes sugarcoats things when it comes to viewers. Like in the first brand split, they'd saw WWE is watched by 15 million viewers in America every week but all they did was combine RAW and Smackdown's viewership like there was no overlap.

Wouldn't surprise me if they sales pitch was that WWE garners 6 or 7 million viewers every week while acting like RAW and SD have separate audiences.

The roster is way too fukking bloated. It would be ridiculous to end it now.

Plus people wouldn't give a shyt about SD AT ALL without the brand split. Just like from 2012-2015.

No chance of that, Fox wanted Raw at first but USA gave WWE what they wanted during the exclusive negotiation period. Thus Fox went into negotiations for Smackdown. Around the time WWE signed this deal, Fox aired a Meghan Markle special and Master Chef, junior in the time slot and got between 3.5 and 4 million viewers. They think it’s feasible that a weekly live smackdown can match that. If it does, Smackdown will be as is.

We'll see. They had a hard time on Fridays with MyNetwork TV but to be fair so people didn't even have it as an affiliate. Either way, they're going to be a big part of the New Fox.

Signing all this talent means nothing if you don’t use them right. You could have Denzel, Deniro, Pacino and Daniel Day Lewis in the same movie but if the script sucks, their talent won’t save the film from being shyt.

LU, gets one hour and they have you invested in the show throughout. The storylines are compelling, and they don’t rehash the same matches every show.
