I've never seen it on the street. I've never seen anyone wear a ridiculous 2 Chainz onesie either :lawd:

so because you have never seen it it doesn't exist? the world is bigger than the state you live in or the block you rep. who is to say that this isn't happening?

Ahh - so you have no proof.

Never said I did. I just use common sense and the history of entertainment industry. Believe what you want but them cats are promoting homosexuality to the black community. If U wanna keep your head in the sand and con't to go with the program(ing) by all means enjoy the washing. As for me, I keep my head and eyes on a swivel.

not what i meant there's acting gay and being gay. also you must understand perception in the case of the aforementioned statement you made above

Yes - there are certain effeminate traits that people associate with gay dudes - but there are also gay dudes who act as stereotypically straight as the straightest guy you know.

Not sure what you mean by understanding perception.

Good point - anecdotal evidence has only limited value. It'll be interesting to see if everyday people start to follow suit. The thing with hip hop fashion now is that certain artists are really in tune with what is going on in the world of high fashion - but not everything in high fashion goes mainstream.

At least it looks like Timbs are coming back :ahh:

I gladly keep my head in the sand for things that I have no evidence of.

I dont think its hard to tell that the influences of Kanye and some of the other artists mentioned are all over mainstream hip-hop/media. What I dont understand is when a person like Lord Jamar voices his opinion against it hes immediately ridiculed and written off as a hater, homophobe, what have you. I see this same theme whenever black people speak out against negative things affecting our lives/communites like we are just supposed to accept all the bullshiit sent our way when no one has EVER accepted us as we are. Dont get me wrong im not crying over it but I think we all (black people) need to understand this and stop going with the program.
