andre just wears wierd stuff for attention. and i can vouch for those 2 pics. the first pic represents our ancestry and when we were kings. the 2nd pic is that p-funk/bootsy collins type stuff. i always looked at that as a salute to the artists that influenced him. now theres alot of stuff that he wears that i wont vouch for, but he never struck me as a fruitcake.
cam falls under the category of pushing the limits, but he was so street with his that you had to accept it. hes just a fly nicca. and other fly niccas can relate.
now this asap rocky/kanye west/lil wayne stuff is just gay chit.
Isn't that the whole point though? That Kanye and ASAP are wearing weird stuff to make themselves stand out and garner more attention? How is it any different than Andre rocking the skirt with the football pads and helmet? Or Cam incorporating pink into everything he wore? Or Dipset adopting the rock star look and wearing fitted clothing?
Pushing the limits - even on a street level - was directly denounced by Jamar in the video. Maybe you disagree with Jamar on that point - but you would have to acknowledge that there is no harm in rocking certain effeminate styles (2 earrings and diamonds).
If you want to call people out for wearing gimmicky fashion to seek attention that's fine - but be consistent.
What I take issue with is the argument that straight dudes are going to see Kanye wearing a skirt and transform overnight and become gay. Or if straight dudes wear effeminate fashion that is going to turn them gay. That is completely unsubstantiated opinion and stems from homophobia.
I also take issue with the homophobia. There isn't anything inherently wrong with homosexuality. Do you disagree with that? If you do - how does other people being attracted to the same sex harm Wacky D?
