Not it doesn't.. Hip hop doesn't have a problem with homophobia.. That's the biggest lie the white man ever told you.. We just got jokes and feel uncomfortable around effeminate behavior ...

How many rappers have been arrested for gay bashing or hate crimes?

Now..

How many rappers have been arrested for violence against women and other straight Black men?

Hip hop is a culture of brash, opinionated, testosterone fueled alpha males.. You expecting it to become a rest haven for sissies is unreasonable..

That's why dudes are poking your fruity azz with the proverbial stick.. pause...

Your mentality is foreign and always will be...

Uhh, the likes of Prodigy would like to talk to you :smugbiden:

There is a middle ground between pro fakkit and anti gay...The majority of nikkas don't care.. You're obviously not one of them, which makes your mentality foreign...

I can't speak to the thoughts of all African Americans on the subject of homosexuality - but I do believe studies show that African Americans are more religious than other Americans and tend to be conservative with issues relating to gay rights.

Are you referencing a study showing African Americans tend to have no opinion on the issue of gay rights? I think you are wrong.

So the alternative is to force gays underground and deny them rights?

In your eyes, why don't we just kill them like in Uganda? Might as well right? Whats stopping us from going that far?

You can't have it both ways.

I don't think gays should force themselves onto others, but nor do I think guys should harass women when they're denied. You've got to stop with this slippery slope bullshyt. It goes both ways.

Its a balancing act of respect and you don't seem to understand this.

The fukk any of what I said have to do with human rights or genocide? You argue like a bytch...

Man I don't know...

But if so..You have the same right to be intolerant of their religious views as they have to be intolerant over a man getting his rectum piped out..

Me personally I don't give a fukk...Love who you wanna love, fukk who you wanna fukk..I'm just tired of all the thought police and the culture of victim hood..

Tolerance is a courtesy, not a right....And you're not gonna chastise, guilt and brow beat nikkas into being accepting of someone..They have to find their own path through life experience...

Should have known nikkas were gonna be calling Lord Jamar a hasbeen and all of that silly shyt. I could give a damn if he dropped a record in 1995. Dude made a valid point and I respect the message. You actually think your favorite rappers are gonna come out the gate and speak on this? Their afraid of making GLAAD mad

It seems like you have a live and let live attitude on the subject which I can respect. Hopefully with time you'll realize that it's not cool to use certain words, but I agree that you'll take your own path and time on that.

Also - with regard to the religious piece - which amazingly no one has really brought up yet - I don't accord any special treatment to a belief because it is based in the bible or any other religious source. I scrutinize those beliefs just as I would any others.

I never called Jamar a has been. To me he's a legend. I'm a huge fan of Brand Nubian and I respect that he's voicing his opinion on a subject like this because it adds to the dialogue on the issue.

But his argument is silly. I'd've you listen to what he's saying - he has a very detailed and nuanced dress code he expects rappers to follow. One earring okay, but not two. Gold okay, but not diamonds. The skirt thing is easy to pick on but Jamar just comes across as obsessed with gender roles.

And why didn't he call out Dipset and 3 Stacks!!!

Getty Images confirmed that they were asked to scrub their site of the several shots of Kanye from the 12-12-12 show they hosted. They wouldn’t say why.
