At the top.
Should I cop a pair of KD 7s, or a YOTH pair of Kobe 8s to ball in?
Kobe 8 were a great shoe to hoop in (I use the easter's on court). Good traction, good lockdown and really light.
I haven't copped a pair of KD7 but they appear to be a good shoe from reviews I've glanced over (the straps dont do shyt unlike the KD4 which I own)

I'm leaning towards the KDs but I'm concerned about how much heavier they are than some Kobes.

I think the different should be negligible. If you were comparing it to a lebron i'd understand your concern (those things feel like a tank on your feet when hooping). try them on in the store and walk around. i like the fact that the KD has the posite for more strength/durability. I've had my feet stepped on by some heavy weights while wearing my kb8s (i'm a guard) and the engineered mesh was NOT forgiving LOL

@Howie Doroughberg how are your red October 4s holding up? :ld:

Got 'em around early May, wore them aboot a couple dozen times already.

And... they look as good as the day they comed in.

Troof be told; they're more comfortable than my authentic, Nike.com/Footlocker purchased IV's.

Wouldn't be surprised if the sport Blues VIs restocked. I would't spend more than $200 on the resale.

My main gripe with the 2011 release with the horrible lockdown/heel slipage (even w/ TTS) and the build of the sole into the lateral side caused
for minimal flex when walking... one of the most uncomfortable shoes i've ever owned.

That, on top of the lack of 3M piping, i can see why nobody wore the 2011 release.

I never had the og or the 2006's, but i can't imagine them being that much better.

It's a damn shame cuz the sillowet is so nice.
