These came out when I was either in the 6th or 7th grade. Most of the shoes I want now are all shoes that came out when I was in 4th-7th grade. Sneakers pretty much got whack after that imo. Until they brought back foams, if you're from the DMV you'll understand. Foams and Half-cents and pennys were my shyt in high school. Then foams completely jumped the shark around the time the pewters came out, the last foamposite I really cared for.

Nike/JB redeemed themselves last year with the 1s, toro 4s, green glows, fear 4s and fear 5s imo. This year I really don't care for much outside of 5lab3s, columbia/legend blues, prelude 6s were dope. I like the carmines but those are going to get beasted to death

oh yea brons are dope, but brons are the perfect example of how whack Nike got from 2006-'09. Lebrons got whack after the threes then came back with the 7s

No doubt I ain't really fukk with sneakers til last year to be honest. I was into it in my juniior high/hs days like 2000-2005 and just got back into it last year. Its like my big hobby now, I think its because I've been sober a year now and I kind of picked up the sneaker addiction as a replacement. Better than poppin pills and drinkin syrup for sure but anyway the only LeBrons I really liked before the 7s were the 2s. But 7,8,9,10,11 in and any V2, elite etc edition are all still better than the 2s.
I know people are mad at the hype surrounding the sneakers, having to deal with resellers, hypebeasts and I agree foams kind of jumping the shark right now but we living in a golden age in a way. Since all the Jays getting retroed, plus all the new colorways, plus Reebok/adidas bringing some shyt back. And LeBrons, Kobes and Durants are all in their prime (the sneakers not the players...) Than we got dope designer sneakers (arenas, MMMs if you into that..) Asics, New Balance ain't really my thing but I know they bringing out some dope colorways too

jb tried to pull an okie doke when they released those trash black and white 2s when they shoulda brought back the chrome 2s. the reflective accents on the chromes are . mine get very little spin since there's some sole separation starting to happen around the toe box. comfortable shoe though.
