Amazon literally underpays black workers and exploits them to the highest degree. They open up in predominantly black areas because they know they can pay them the bare minimum and work them like slaves.

They did not provide any equipment during the pandemic to black workers at all. When everyone was ordering package - you had people literally changed to the assembly line not given masks or gloves. White workers were treated much better than black workers.

Hell for a company that saw exponential growth due to COVID they still pay their employees less than a livable wage and work them like slaves.

This $15 minimum wage Biden is talking about is hopefully gonna help these brehs.

I will admit it's kinda hard to talk about a full boycott of Amazon right now because they are killing the game. Folks be needing stuff and there is no adequate competition

Hell, if it’s not the prisoners who make the products it’s the severely underpaid, overworked, and mistreated warehouse workers slaving away to send the products to you. We make up a majority of the workforce behind why you can order a package and have it sent same day.

Tried to order a few parts for this thing I need to fix from a smaller site it was a little more than Amazon price wise and it's been a week and a half still don't have the package. I'd have had it in two days max with Amazon so I'm not boycotting. And you can't beat that Amazon return policy. Free return in any condition

I agree with you. I'm just saying it's hard to tell someone not to order from them without a service to replace it. I order from Amazon once every few months maybe personally but some ppl order every week.

This is well known about Amazon. Unless you're in tech there, you're a peasant. My brother only lasted a week as a driver before he quit. I don't think this fight is going to last long. Amazon's solution to all this is to get rid of warehouse workers and drivers. They are investing millions in delivery drones and warehouse machines that will likely allow them to trim over 65% of their workforce.

The best thing to do is to find a future proof career field or trade and get started working. Automation is coming for everybody and it'll be quicker than you think. Don't waste your time and money fighting for a career field that probably won't exist in 10 to 15 years.

America and UNIONIZE and overthrow this fascist corporation. Whats up with everyone hating on UNIONS OF WORKERS??

STEM isn't the solution to raise America out of 3rd world poverty for hundreds of millions of people. We need UNITY and LAWS to be enforced.

I don't work for Amazon but regularly go to one of their warehouses. While it's not a fulfillment center, I will say that they have done a pretty good job with the whole COVID. Everyone's temperature is checked when they come in the warehouse. They have tons of PPE including masks. The have people who stand in the corner and constantly remind you to be six feet away from each other, they have a COVID self testing station with a 2 day turn around time, they have people come sanitize the whole warehouse every day and plexiglass between dispatch tables.

When everything first started they bought 1000 gallons of sanitizer, changed their whole driver training program to be virtual and provided reusable masks for everyone.

He was fired in March and almost every issue he complains about has been resolved. Also they provided all the warehouse workers and drivers an extra $2 and hours for 2 months and have they a "stimulus" of $500 - $1000 in the summer.

I'm not throwing on the cape for Amazon but they had to roll with the punches just like everyone else. Their are plenty things wrong with Amazon but they went over and beyond what most companies did for COVID.

I wish this breh success but I will keep my job and not support.

Also the turn around time is like 90 days for warehouse workers. They will never unionize.
