IMO, focusing on what you don't have discourages building and developing what you do have.
So we don't have what whites in America have. But many of us do have enough to start our own restaurants, clothing lines, grocery stores, jewelers, sports franchises, social media sites, etc.
If we continue to compare ourselves to whites on some "woe is me" tip, things are only gonna get worse. It's a pipe dream to believe that they would willingly relinquish any of their wealth. But if we focus on what we do have we can build our own and come closer to maximizing what we can out of this situation.
This is not "woe is me." This is not "what white folks have."
I'm exhausted with people treating me like I'm making stuff up without checking my sources.
Bro, this is not true. It's just not.
Again, you have to understand capitalism and that black people do not live in a bubble away from white people.
Where are people getting money and education to start businesses? Government.
What's gonna stop Amazon from just selling at that at a cheaper price and with higher efficiency? Government.
Black people have the right to
DEMAND of our government. If ya'll knew our history you'd know the reason a black middle class existed is because of the government being forced by our elders to enact on the behalf of black people.
You can start a business, but, businesses don't sustain generations of people. You think you can run retail better than Wal-Mart and Target? Amazon is kicking both of their asses.
This is just the tip of the iceburg. I feel like the muhfukka trying the warn everyone about the flood. Everybody is tellin' me, "Well, we dry now."
Where do ya'll get all this information that we are okay?
No, don't sit around in beg. But, you don't field an offense with just two lineman. I'm just talking about filling the rosters out. I don't wanna hear "just worry about the lineman we have on the field."
