All I know is the only two movies i’m REALLY excited tor the rest of the yesr are Black KKKlamsmen and Widows. Black KKKlansmen has a lot of good buzz going for it so I hope it performs solidly in the 20-25 million range

I don’t like the weekend black klans is getting

Against the meg and that dog movie
I hope I’m wrong plus it’s not a wide release

15 to 20 I would be happy

I think Halloween is going to have a big opening. Something like $65M+ because it has the date all set and if it's even "okay" that will be enough to capture nostalgia and wash away the horrible sequels.

It's going to do numbers for so many reasons. The hype train hasn't even really begun yet

So what’s everyone’s predictions for Venom and Aquaman?

Aquaman looks interesting enough where it could make an impact over Christmas. Might be a slow burn though. But as always, depends on the marketing and word of mouth. SDCC is next weekend so the hype train begins in earnest there.

I'm so unsure about Venom. Not sure how Sony plans to sell it and so far it's been a meh job at best. The most recent pic of him is unsettling as fukk though so that's a good look

They didn't make it as a big time release. They put enough money in it to ensure they get a good ROI and the flick makes money. It'll be fine. They're doing what Jason Blum does; low investment, high return=hit movie. And they want awards for it and I'm sure they're also banking on a Get Out like word of mouth
