He’s snobbish about horror breh. Unless it says A24 on the label, he thinks it’s trash :russ: Love @FlyRy but we don’t discuss horror.

That's not true breh. Halloween and Suspiria are my most anticipated movies of the fall along with El Royale

I mean i should have figured as she used to to lock my sister and i in the bathroom with the lights off and make jason sounds when we were kids but I was a bit surprised

Man I don’t see how you don’t like horror more outside of the ones critics are cool with liking and are “respectable.” Your moms clearly has the bug did it skip you? Or is scream end all be all and everything gets judged based on that? I don’t see how a horror fan could see Annabelle creation and say the conjuring universe is garbage now. There’s been one movie, Annabelle, that missed the mark for me. Both conjuring flicks and the creation flick were very very on point. I expect nothing less from the nun

If anybody wants to see how much Power Disney yields already, and how them buying Fox is going to make it even worse, look no further than Christopher Robin.

The film has been out 4 weeks,is barely making money, and yet the theatre losses make absolutely no sense in comparison to its performance.

The movie is losing less theatres than mission impossible every weekend, yet is making less and has a lower theatre average.

Compare it to the skyscraper. A film that made almost the exact same amount of money it’s first 2 weekends. On weekend 3 after the customary standard 2 week expansion for films, skyscraper lost over 1000+ theatres. By weekend 4,it lost another 1000+. In comparison Christopher Robin lost 0 theatres after weekend 3,and only lost 208 this weekend. It’s playing in more theatres than most of the top 10 despite barely making money.

1 studio having this much power is not healthy for the film industry.
