If he has all these picks yet can't find THE guy amongst all of his assets, then he's doing it wrong,

I don't think shyt really lines up with Markkanen anyway at this point. If he was like 3 years younger I could squint & say maybe something works right. Even if they manage to find the guy in the draft it probably takes that guy a couple years unless their Bron levels & at that point Markkanen is 30.

Would have to trade for somebody already established & even then it's probably someone who just more firmly plants them in the middle than someone who really moves the needle since they were apparently in on Bridges

before the Bridges trade, I thought a Lavine for Simmons trade made sense for both teams, but now that the Nets are blowing it up there’s no chance it happens.

Only place I can see Lavine going is the Lakers or Heat if all other deals fall through and they get desperate to make something happen
