Brehs my laptop died too which I got in 09.
Thats 2 laptops a PC other laptop was purchased in early 011 both are out of warranty.

PC won't turn on.

Laptop screen goes blank after a few minutes - this was a slow progression, saw this coming was on warranty at the time but it was still usable, I was lazy and never sent it in. A couple months later the screen refuses to come on after start up.

Laptop that died on me this week - Windows 7 wouldn't start up I tried repairing it with the disk, it wouldn't react, so slow to every command.

I kept turning it off each time it crashed via the power button and I get a message telling me the HD is dying so back up your work, how though? I can't even load Windows to do that.
