Anyone is free to do as they please during a fukkn marathon. It's a family fukkn event, not a security checkpoint. All the college students were down there. I took half a day off to go down there and cheer on a co worker. AND I brought my backpack nikka.

The fukk is you saying. Its a public event. Its supposed to accessible to everyone. The police were out there in full force and were 100% focused on everything.

It couldn't be prevented because who would suspect a random backpack bombing. It wasn't like a truck pulled into copley. Its right in back bay. Tons of shops, eateries etc.

IT IS A fukkN MARATHON.

The course runs through 26 miles 385 yards (42.195 km) of winding roads, following Route 135, Route 16, Route 30 and city streets into the center of Boston, where the official finish line is located at Copley Square, alongside the Boston Public Library. The race runs through eight Massachusetts cities and towns: Hopkinton, Ashland, Framingham, Natick, Wellesley, Newton, Brookline, and Boston.

This ain't some run through the woodlands. If you take away the public access part, YOU HAVE NO MARATHON. Its a two way street, people like to go to root everyone on. The runners love to run, but they love the cheers and atmosphere as they progress through the course.
