I said what I said. It was a boring close game. 03 champs was my last favorite team. We sacked. We forced fumbles for TDs. We intercepted for hella TDs. Nikka, we turned our star DB into a tight end.:russ:

Niners some hoes. Regular tips against regular passes.

Regular ass offensive backs. Quarterback, running back, give me my money back. :stopitslime:

If Russell Wilson is the games biggest draw, you in for some regular ass football :manny:

That goes both ways, though. Hawks dropped two picks on the game-tying drive that would have ended it in regulation...

Hawks spotted Niners 10 points, then took a 21-10 lead, and couldn't hang on to the gotdamn pill. Back to back fumbles right before and right after halftime, TD on either drive probably put the game outta reach...

I hear what you're saying and I dont disagree, but the "what if's" goes both ways!

Yes.... the “what if’s” do go both ways..... and I get Russ made some great plays.... but while Niccas trynna call out Jimmy’s “almost picks”

We can’t sit her and pretend Russ ain’t almost have a couple that was dropped too. Hell he had just as many turnovers as Jimmy. They stats was practically even:yeshrug:

49ers..Braves..Celtics
Russ is pretty much the only reason they were able to score consistently with that 9ers pass rush due to his escape ability and I'm not even a Russ stan.

They were scoring consistently? Bruh.. one fumble was a scoop and score and the other was inside the 20. That was 14 points. How many times did they actually drive the field?

Stats were close but this is why we watch the game, in all sports, because actually watching the games tells you what the box scores can't...

Russ had a presence the whole game that showed a complete command and control on the field, even after bad plays. You NEVER felt this with Jimmy, who looked visibly flustered and skittish on many occasions...

That 3rd&16 pass, right before Russ threw the pick in OT, that was right after getting hosed on an "in the grasp" play that backed Seattle up, Jimmy G not making that throw, in that moment, with those stakes. We all know it....

That 3rd&4 on the final drive where Russ scrambled for 21 yards to put them in field goal range, Jimmy G isn't making that play in that moment with those stakes...

Russ was clutch, this is just two examples of clutch plays he made. The interception was awful and his worst throw of the game, and he had a couple more bad throws, but he wasn't redlining Niners defenders the way Jimmy was doing for Hawks. He played MUCH better than Jimmy G, bad plays and similar stats notwithstanding...
