Dropped passes hurt the 49er's. Jimmy had some poor throws, but the 49er's WR's needed to make some catches.


And, this game would have likely been different if the 49er's didn't get dinged up.

Shanahan may be the young Andy Reid with the clock management shyt, that last possession was awful. Still hasn't shown he can get out of his own way in big, clutch moments...



Let's not absolve Jimmy Porno of blame here....

He threw at least 6 passes directly to Hawks defenders, 4 of those in the 4th and OT. He underthrew Pettis on that bomb that Griffin broke up in OT, and he overthrew his targets a number of times...

My man threw 50 passes and barely completed 50% of his throws. His receivers dropped a bunch of passes, but he threw some bad passes, too. Not just a few bad passes, he threw a grip of bad throws!

His pocket awareness is weak too. Seattle got a shytload of pressure all night, but Jimmy like a statue back there, he struggled avoiding hits all night. He got jumpy and panicky back there and threw at least two passes away, late in the game, that he should bought more time on...

Let's not pretend Garoppolo had s ok me virtuoso performance, we just watched tha game lol...

That goes both ways, though. Hawks dropped two picks on the game-tying drive that would have ended it in regulation...

Hawks spotted Niners 10 points, then took a 21-10 lead, and couldn't hang on to the gotdamn pill. Back to back fumbles right before and right after halftime, TD on either drive probably put the game outta reach...
