I personally have Curtis Mayfield over R. Kelly.

Curtis Mayfield, also a super talented writer and producer for himself and others. The soundtracks alone are 2nd to none. Plus his catalog is heavily sampled and a gang of cover songs

Naw, Kellz apparently is hard to work with. I think he'd more compliant with MJ than he was with Jayz tho. From the way he talked about working with MJ on You Are Not Alone, Kellz would follow MJ's lead.
