You didn’t see “union” bricklayer in the article breh, then there’s levels to it like anything else. He’s doing a mansion so he might be working for a higher end or commercial contractor.

Either way they lump everyone together, non union, mf outside of Home Depo, etc.. when they do those averages

We make 53 plus an hour and can negotiate more but they list my trade at like 40k a year when the average out here in union is well over a 100k and I personally know cats making 200k+

I was saying I didn’t know trades paid that high even right after an apprenticeship. I’m sure every place is different, but I thought it was like, $14, $18, $22, $26, your first four years or something, then you get like $30 something an hour after you’re done with your apprenticeship. He could have been working after his apprenticeship for a while though. Idk.
