Honestly i think thats how Mcgruder always envisioned the characters, as more anime-esque

The way Mcgruder interpret's anime characters (especially black ones) looks much better to me. Just like Akira Toriyama has a unique style of drawing anime that seperates himself from his peers. Go back and look at Mcgruder's old comics, that shyt is dope, and I wish he had kept that style in the cartoon.
