Too much Uncle Ruckus is one of the main reasons it fell off for me after Aaron was out

Agreed. Once they made Huey a side character and focused entirely on Ruckus and Riley is when the show went downhill.


They need to actually have Huey involved in the plot (and introduce Caesar) instead of just having Riley act out stereotypes.

This is just speculation but I think because Huey was the more “controversial” pro black character that they put him to the side to avoid fukkery. Remember two Huey centric episodes in season 2 got BANNED and were only included on the DVD releases. Season 3 was supposed to be the final season and Huey was always saying “i’m retired” as an inside joke.

I think Aaron Mcgruder got burned out from not always being able to say what he truly wanted. Huey was his doppelgänger
