They killed Ragner.....Cassius is still a bytch. Then Aja bytch ass is in hiding. Book 3 is taking me longer to read it and I gotta read 82 pages a day to stay on pace to meet my 52 book 2025 challenge. The last 3 books are longer and then Red God is even longer....Imma tryna get into shape to read 65 pages after Book 3.

Didn't think I would get three books in this month with how long it took me to finish A Feast For Crows and A Dance With Dragons but I just finished reading Sphere by Michael Crichton.

Sphere was a literal page-turner for me. It was just the right book I needed to get back into science fiction after so much fantasy. Never read Crichton before this but I have Rising Sun, Jurassic Park, Airframe, and Timeline on the shelf (I bought a bunch of his books at a library book sale), so this was a very positive foray into his work

Not as scientific as his other books. Main character is smuggler/fukkup

Just finished Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. Loved the movie as a kid and I think it still holds up but I got to give the book the age by a bit. Lex (the little girl) is the only one that annoyed me throughout the book. I wonder if Ian Malcolm's rants about science was the character's or Crichton's thoughts?

Finished up the novella, Behold the Man by Michael Moorcock. A man goes back in time to the middle east to find out the truth about Jesus.
I really enjoyed this unique look at religion and self indulgence

Finished this a while back but man the book is so much better than the movie :wow:

They did the book something dirty with that movie :why:

Also finished Project Hail Mary whole lot of science in that book more so than his other books.

Just wrapped up Island in the Sky by Arthur C Clarke. I picked it up at a used book store not knowing it was a juvenile novel but it was still a good quick read. He doesn't write down to the target demographic and still has plenty of technical jargon you would expect for his adult books.

Finished this last night. It's not the Expanse but it has potential. Took a while for the main character to step up damn near at the end of the book but I'm interested in the series so lets wait for the book 2 in the series.

Initially picked this up without paying too much attention it, thinking it was some fictional, spy, espionage type ish on the Mr. Robot tip or something. Whole time, it's non-fiction but prob even more chilling then any fiction story could drum up with some of the stuff she details in here.

Shyt was dense as hell, and a little too much bouncing around with the timeline for my liking, but when she in her bag drawing the lines for attacks that have been happening since Dem Krem mfs was up in typewriters, shyt is a thrill.
