As noted this morning, Booker said on a recent episode of his Hall of Fame podcast that Big E. would need to tweak his presentation for his newly-started singles run, noting:

That quote was honestly taken out of context. I was listening to the show when he said that, and him and his co-host were talking about wrestlers needing to make adjustments when they go from being a part of a group to getting a solo push. Cherry-picking that quote makes it seem like Booker told him to change his whole gimmick when that wasn’t the case. He was actually making a well thought out point and had good examples.

That’s the problem with clickbait sites.

I think what happened was Book was "accepted" by the establishment over the years and began to identify with it, while Stevie Ray was never no cat to to shuck & jive for nobody even if that means he don't make as much money.
