Watched this today. I enjoyed it. Kurt Russell is the go too for Western movie quality right now. And yeah, that scene was disturbing as hell, but I had to do a double take on the female natives, like WTF!

:lolbron:

I watched it again with my wife awhile back and caught a part that I somehow missed the first time...

When the woman's husband got to the part of the trail leading into the cannibal den and laid down to sleep...and they saw him...dude threw a spear point blank at him and missed :bryan:...and dude woke up with the :damn: and just started shooting:bryan:

On a second watch some of the acting was pretty bad...but this shyt is a borderline cult classic to me...

Don't know why but I've always loved this movie. The cast, the cinematography, the creepy slow burn feel and then of course the cave. :wow:
I remember being taken aback by how sudden some of these deaths were. :heh:

I gotta credit Zahler for not shying away from the brutality. And I thought The Proposition was rough for a western, lol.

On another note, a survival-based free roam centered around escaping from the Troglodytes would’ve made for some bomb-ass RDR2 DLC. :whew:
