The more I think about it...the more I like our matchup against Philly...

The biggest thing in this series is for the Hawks to continue to take care of the ball. Limit Philly transition opportunities and we essentially take away Ben Simmons greatest asset...his ability to score and create in transition. If the Hawks do this, Simmons essentially self-checks himself on offense in half-court ball as he refuses to shoot.

If the Hawks are loose with the ball, that will open everything up for Philly allowing Simmons to become "Lebron-lite".

Philly washed a fully healthy Atlanta team at the end of April and all 3 times they played them this season. Atlanta isn't here yet.

If Embiid plays, then Philly takes it in 5.

:mjlol: WTF are you talking about? nikka said this like he actually watched the game which I KNOW he didn't. This nikka just came in here and said some dumbshyt without even taking the time to simply look at the boxscore :russ:

Hawks haven't been fully healthy since preseason, bruh (technically they still aren't because CAM is out).

April 28th game...the Hawks were without Bogi, Trae, Hunter, and Snell.

April 30th game...the Hawks started Solomon Hill and Tony Snell. Neither Bogi or DeAndre Hunter played in that game and that was Trae's first game back from the ankle injury he had against NY.

Again, WTF are you evening talking about @Thavoiceofthevoiceless :dwillhuh:

No offense but if you’re looking at regular season results to give you insight into this matchup you’re missing the point. Both teams were missing players on both sides. Plus we beat them the first time we played them this season so your whole argument is flawed breh

This series will be as close as Trae makes it. It could be a long series for him. The individual defenders he’s gonna see on the perimeter are elite. He’s gonna have to shoot better than he did against NY

Still doesn't change the fact that Atlanta isn't ready yet. You can take my comment for what you will.

You'll see that Atlanta isn't ready yet to challenge for the East crown. It's not their time yet and there's nothing wrong with admitting that.

Lloyd Pierce was the coach. EVERYBODY (including the Knicks) was washing the Hawks then. Again, WTF are you talking about? :dahell:

Is that supposed to change something? It's a young team that isn't ready to compete for the East crown. That's my opinion. You can take it for what you will instead of whining that it doesn't fit your exact thoughts and opinions.

It's no different than any other breh on The Coli whose made a prediction for the playoffs. So quit whining.

It may not be the Hawks time yet but your reasoning for why is off. Just admit you haven’t really watched us play and you’re not really sure. You’re talking to die hard Hawks fans who follow the team daily so you’re not gonna be able to out Hawk talk us breh

My reasoning is that young teams typically aren't ready to make that type of leap this early in their tenure. They are headed towards that way, but it won't happen this year. It takes time and experience. Doesn't make their season a failure if they lose to the Sixers as they are heading in the right direction and have the foundation to build upon. I will say the exact same thing in the Sixers-Hawks thread as I am saying it in here.

I've actually watched the games and have given them credit on multiple threads for how McMillan and Capela have changed their season. Just because I'm not in this thread doesn't mean that I haven't been paying attention to them.
