So let’s talk predictions...I really think this is a 6 game series. If I think about what could go wrong (2nd unit going cold, foul trouble for our bigs, Randle being unstoppable) I see a scenario where we could be in trouble. Gonna be critical that if the 3 ball isn’t falling that we take good shots and get to the line

I’m not as confident as some of y’all saying y’all don’t see this as being competitive but I do think we win this at home in Game 6

Looks like Cam will be on the Hawks Summer League team which is a good idea IMO. Will help him get back the reps he lost this season...

Hawks GM Travis Schlenk on Knicks matchup, Nate McMillan’s future in Atlanta, Cam Reddish, offseason priorities (paywall)

On McMillan’s hire:

Schlenk met McMillan was when he was already hired by Lloyd Pierce to be an assistant coach for the Hawks. Schlenk was not involved in any interview process with McMillan; Pierce had total control of whom he wanted to add to his staff.

On next season’s roster:

This group blended really well on the court and off the court … If this same group came back, it wouldn’t bother me at all.

On Okongwu:

In the long term, he has a really good touch around the basket. I think you’re going to see him become a good shooter. He’s going to be a good foul shooter. I anticipate he’ll be able to make jump shots.

On Reddish:

We’ve spoken with him, and the plan is for him to participate on our Summer League team this year, just so he can get those reps and so he can get a head start when we get to camp next year.

Him, Kong, our first round and second round pick this year will need the reps. Interesting that Schlenk said Cam needs to “slow it down” on offense and that the game is moving too fast for him at times
