Can't believe how many casuals are sleeping on us and really believe the Knicks will take this. Knicks are a good regular season team but who can they really give the ball to and expect to create shyt out of nothing when things slow down as it does during the playoffs? We've got Bogdon and Trae who can do that at a high level. Capela will handle Randle and while I love D Rose this ain't 2011.
Capela struggled with Randle on the perimeter. Collins struggled with him on the block and on the perimeter. Hunter is our best matchup for him. We need to force him to be Shaq. Randle on the perimeter is extremely tough to deal with.

I agree but we are rarely on national TV and outside of us, who watches us every game. Not many.

Of course the ATL
Another thing that concerns me is the physical nature of this series. We aren’t a physical team outside of Capella and maybe Solomon Hill, I’m interested to see how we react when it gets chippy and we need to respond after getting hit in the mouth. Knicks are definitely more physical than us and playoff basketball is different than the regular season

Hunter is also physical and Trae and Bogi aren't soft but Kevin, Gallo, and JC soft as pillows. So glad Hunter is back.

Gamblers are becoming bullish on the Hawks...

From Covers —
"Granted, in surveying the playoffs landscape on May 14, no one really thinks the Atlanta Hawks are going to win the NBA Finals. But for some reason over the past three weeks, BetMGM Nevada has seen a flurry of activity on Atlanta, which on May 14 was +5,000 (50/1) at the sportsbook’s Vegas shops, after being as long as +15,000 (150/1) in late April.

"We were getting so much futures play on the Hawks, big bets at 150/1, 100/1, 80/1. We got as low as 30/1," BetMGM Nevada’s Scott Shelton said, specifically noting a $10,000 play at 150/1, which would win $1.5 million. There are several four-figure bets, as well. "The Hawks are our biggest liability now, and it’s not even close. The Lakers are second."

Atlanta won seven of its last nine regular-season outings to finish 41-31, tied with New York for fourth in the East, but the Hawks lost the tiebreaker. So the Knicks will have home-court advantage in a first-round series against the Hawks. That prompted BetMGM Nevada to dial Atlanta back to +6,600 on May 16."

Big Perk see it. I see Trae having a coming out party this series because the Knicks won't be able to just double and trap him as the Hawks have too many options that can handle, shoot, and create. The last game before Trae got hurt was a preview. Dude was well on his way to a 30-20 game against NY. Trapping Trae will essentially allow Bogi to go work which might be even more dangerous for the Knicks in this series.
