As a white person, most white people are clueless and incredibly insecure on race issues.

You mean you love social justice, but only when its fighting for your specific group :mjlol:
Most white people are white supremacist breh. It's their religion and recent past time. It's expected from them.

"Indians" is mad ignorant because Native Americans were just given that name since the Europeans that came to America thought they were in India.

"Well they're all brown so we just call them Indians:yeshrug:"
Naw, not really. That's what the cacs told you so they can avoid paying you but it was really a name they gave due to the people every here looking like the Indians they did trade with in India. Same for the west Indies. It's actually deep. If you look at what they called Indians in the early America's, it was Black folks for the most part.

Yeah even the illini is a tribe.
But the school caught a lot of backlash.

There wasn't a blessing or anything like that. NCAA pretty much forced them to remove the mascot if they wanted to host NCAA events.

The shyt started off as some bullshyt halftime show in like the 20's around Thanksgiving when they had some white kid dressed up in "Indian attire" and give someone dressed like Ben Franklin a peace pipe. The character was liked, so they kept using him and he became the "mascot" for the school.

Native Americans didn't fukk with that.

The Seminoles gave FSU their blessing
