:ohhh: what is this?

Just learned about it today. Any type of royalties. Not just songs.

Founded in 2011, Royalty Exchange started after identifying the need for a centralized marketplace where royalty owners could monetize their royalties and investors seeking to purchase alternative assets could invest in them. Our mission is simply to provide a platform where all types of royalty assets, such as music, television and film or patents, intellectual property, and mineral rights, can be bought or sold in an effort to bring value to both the investor and seller.

$11,501 could make you the owner of a gold record

Royalties for the Certified-Gold Song “2AM.” by Adrian Marcel
This is a chance to own a piece of the hottest club song of the 2014 summer. This single-song auction is for ownership of 100% of the seller’s ASCAP songwriter's share for the certified-gold R&B/Hip Hop song “2AM.” by Adrian Marcel. The song sold more than 500,000 copies and hit #29 on the US Hot R&B Chart when it was released.
Current Bid: Time Left:
$11,500 4d 3h 0m 11s

Looks like i'm hoarding cash

Are there any tax breaks for reinvested earnings?

E.g, Let's say earn $1000 on the sell of stock, and immediately turn around and reinvest that $1000. Must I still pay full capital gains tax on that $1000. Or will the IRS help a brother out for reinvesting in the economy?
lol yes you have to pay on the sale of any gain.

I have been buying non stop and am all in. Few coins? Did you miss the "dozen" part? I'm closing in on three digits if you're curious. At an average below $400.

I'll let you figure out the rest.

So do you hold a dozen (12) or "close to three digits" (100)?

Quite a big difference there.

Can you read?

I am up almost 200% on the few dozen of coins I picked up during 2015.

What's your portfolio looking like?

I've been accumulating since 2014. Sorry for being vague but I'd rather not disclose exact amounts

I'm not sure what it is you think you can accomplish with your snide remarks seeing as no matter what you say, Bitcoin remains the best performing asset on the market since its inception and the fundamentals are stronger than ever.

While everything was freefalling today it's up 5 % on similar moves as gold. That should tell you something

Because I remember the last time someone used a "few dozen" to describe a number close to 100.

:dafuq:

All you make is snide remarks about Bitcoin. Anybody with a contrarian opinion doesn't know shyt to you.

You're a clown. You predicted a million a coin a few years ago. Feel free to address that at any point.

:SmugTrump:

All I need to know about the seriousness of Bitcoin is seen in the chatroom on BTC-e. Can't be taken seriously for now.

Well what can I say... you really don't know shyt :yeshrug:

You're doing a good job cherry picking quotes and ignoring the very obvious fact that its performance would make 98% of publicly traded companies envious.

Did I go overboard with some predictions when I was less initiated? Maybe... but pull out a chart and they speak for themselves.

What exactly don't I know shyt about because I'm fairly certain I made money on Bitcoin before you even knew of it.

:jbhmm:

I'm also fairly certain if you compared our personal finances, those numbers would speak for themselves as to who doesn't know shyt.

:ehh:

But go on and tell me more about cherry picking quotes, as you cherry pick a quote from a Bitcoin pumper on Twitter.

:mjlol:

Considering volatility and liquidity, I'm fairly certain 98% of investors would rather be in equities than Bitcoin and think the statement that it has performed better than 98% of public companies is funny. Maybe that's true if you want to cherry pick upswings in price and avoid times like when it lost almost 90% of its value over the course of a year.
