Are there any tax breaks for reinvested earnings?

E.g, Let's say earn $1000 on the sell of stock, and immediately turn around and reinvest that $1000. Must I still pay full capital gains tax on that $1000. Or will the IRS help a brother out for reinvesting in the economy?

I have been buying non stop and am all in. Few coins? Did you miss the "dozen" part? I'm closing in on three digits if you're curious. At an average below $400.
