Oil dropping. Saudis "not prepared to cut production."

I have a feeling they are waiting to see if Turkey can gain enough support for a ground invasion before they commit to any productions cuts. If they both invade Syria, I'd bet they agree to production cuts and prices will spike quickly. IMO, once they feel they have enough control of the Syrian land to put that pipeline from Iraq going through Syria into the EU then they will cut production and raise prices to pay for that new pipeline.

USDJPY fresh low 113.5. Kuroda needs to learn from the Chinese how to manipulate your currency.

Well Chinese don't let the CNY float freely so they can bytch slap banks and traders around if they get out of control, Japan doesn't have such limitless options and their reserves would drain pretty quick.

Some hedgies have their blades out for the CNY though. I doubt PRC would allow some 98 Asian Crisis style crap under their watch though

Yeah I know china likes to bytch about George Soros shorting their currency.

CNY not being a global currency certainly helps with the pricing of it.
