idk about that chief
Panama is full :hubie:
I can never step foot in DR :mjlol: but I am heading to Cartagena too, hitting both cities. Looking at these condo costs, how modern panama city looks...like this is becoming obvious to me compare to becoming a slave to $600K mortgage when 1/3 of that gets me a nice condo and the rest enough to put food on the table.
Same realization I came too.

The question is how long do I want to endure life in the US under the rat race vs being retired with reoccuring investments living life on easy mode overseas, like a king.

I want to make that move by the end of the decade but I'm prepping right now through saving and investing aggressively.

Early 40's/50s, retire and living in a city like this without the 9-5 grind :manny: . Hope we all can get there sooner than we envision.

DR and Colombia are flat out dangerous and corrupt

Wake up one day and someone will say you don't own the house

Dreaming about my growth stock potential, I am either going to win or work some more years :mjlol:.

I just want to generate enough money to put my money in a high yield fin tech saving accounts, bounce to Panama city and live life man.

1) $225000

2) $500000 in a high yield saving account? let's say 3%...to give me 15K a year off interest. This is enough to put food on the table, roof over my head, all basic needs taking care and just live life on easy mode until I die.

Dreams, dreams dreams :mjcry:.

Going to Panama City Panama next month, if I like it, my goals in life my just change. I just want to be free from work, mortgage and the grind.
My wife and I are looking for a retirement location too. For a while it was Grand Cayman, then it switched to Belize. The health care system is our biggest concern though. We have about 8 years until my kids are done with school/college, then I want to be in the Caribbean somewhere.
