i've noticed the fed is also a large factor. any time FOMC minutes are released volatility spikes

Salesforce just seems to kill it every earnings report.

I'm surprised something hasn't replaced them. I find their software to be really clunky and not very intuitive or useful. Maybe it's just me.

I have never even heard of that company, how do you guys find these companies to "invest" in? I find myself scouring the web looking for shyt, is there a site I need to check out to find companies that are popping like this before the earnings report come out because sometimes I'm a little late to the party.

there's a good site called earningswhisper.com that lists all the earnings for companies for every day.

I've known about them for years. they're like a $50 billion company. huge cloud computing company that does customer database stuff. they're in the S&P 500

I mean I really haven't read anything on the proposed buyout but I think you'll make out if someone decides to buy. But a buyer actually has to come to the table. I wouldn't worry too much. You're down about 1.5%. It's not a huge move. Every time you buy a stock you can't just assume it will immediately go up.

Yep... I didn't intend on doing that, I just had a lot of money in my acct to day trade but I have made some racks since starting in December and I only lost money fukking with TLM so I decided to up the stakes today. I'm starting to think this wasn't a good idea. I don't like this feeling at all.
