i'm gonna have to put another $1000 in one or two oil and gas stocks next week i think.

I think $45 was the bottom and that it should be relatively sideways/gradually up now

gpro down 16% :damn:

@Futuristic Eskimo...SLYV? why should it outperform??
IWN. Their USD exposure is much smaller relative to large caps. I dont think the Fed raises rates this year either, so interest rates should remain low. If M&A activity picks up, they should be in for a big year.

Small cap has underperformed in the past few years as well. I like to trade on the reversal. Things seem to be lining up nicely here.

I can barely trade any stocks anyway. have to stick to ETFs. My firm restricts almost everything:mjcry:

As you remember, I took 20k out of LINE the day before another huge pop of near 8%. Just yesterday they were saying there's an oil surplus, now its rallying again. I swear this stock shyt is a scam. I'm gonna drop a 10k margin in there and just let it sit

you aint had to sell breh :ohlawd:

just think of the upside. I wouldnt do margin because you have to pay interest if i aint mistaken ...but buy and hold for the long run. Some of these stocks will yield at least 20% annually IMO in the next couple years. A company like Line that has been down 66% from its 52 week high? that shyt could easily yield 30% annually in the next 2 years

Yea they charge you interest, but the potential pay out is worth it. They charge like 7.5%. Today alone woulda paid off the interest for the year.

Turned down a job at very sizeable asset manager in fixed income research after busting my ass to get research interviews:russ: Would've started in July.

Ended up taking one at Ernst and young. Working on the (redacted:lolbron:)account doing capital projections for their ccar efforts. fukk an end of year bonus :blessed:

Same firm as my girl though :mjcry:
