pepsi? if so why?

and why VOO and VTI? you would be better off investing in one.
I feel like pepsi isnt going anywhere, i put it in the same category as coca cola bc if you check all the subsidiary brands you would be surprised how much market share they have

VOO & VTI are fairly similar in regards to holdings but i dont mind the overlap in regards to the s&p500 and total market.

Taking a chance on LAC with call options. They have the environmental brigade coming after them in court trying to stop them from lithium mining in Nevada. Supposed to hear something around July 29 from the judge. I think they'll get the go ahead to start development of the mine. People want to go green without affecting the environment. Not possible. You have to get the resources to make your green energy products from somewhere. That Tesla you are driving is using lithium from some third world country somewhere, and probably treating workers like slaves. Can't have it your way all of the time. Made some money off this one last year.

I've peeped videos on calls and puts. Can somebody run a quick breakdown or example on how to actually put it in effect? Price settings? Alerts, timing, etc.

New to the stock game. Peeped all the threads old and new. Some of the youtube tutorials had me confused on what/how to actually do these calls...thanks.

Vanguard and Fidelity

Somebody might be able to lead you better with the specifics on how to use those platforms, but the general idea behind options is the same across the board.

I recommend the book "The Options Edge"....Gives a good overview and he gets into the Greeks and the mathematics behind what's going on.

Robinhood also let’s you exercise your option with the click of the mouse.

mid I want to exercise my options on Fidelity, I have to call customer service and be placed on hold for hour to tell the rep to exercise my option :francis:. By that time it might’ve gone down in value and I don’t even want to exercise it anymore. It happened before to me:mjcry:

@NatiboyB @-DMP- would you say a year expenses is too much?

it’s based on your situation I definitely wouldn’t mind having a year. But I’ve been working off of 6 months. And I won’t lie I’m even contemplating investing 1/2 of that as opposed to just sitting it in an account. In something relatively safe like VTI/SCHD/Apple/Microsoft

Wow. That is a good benefit of robinhood. To exercise with a simple click. Do they charge you? If so, how much?

I'm riding MRNA wave. The S&P addition :manny:
