Anybody looking at Squarespace's upcoming IPO? As a user of their service for years, I see the value and if they expand more on their ecommerce side of things and offer some of the services Shopify does it's interesting.

From a web design and functionality standpoint, it's much better than Shopify

9 times out of 10 with IPOs, the company listing their shares are trying to exit at the highest price and leave the retail holding the bag.

So how long do you typically wait to get in? Or do you set a price and leave it at that? Only IPO I got in on same day was RBLX which was fukkery, but the price has held up well since it was listed.

I don't know if I'd get in on Squarespace on same day, but that's def a company I wouldn't mind investing in because I use the service daily, and I think the services has more potential than a common competitor in Shopify.

Depends on your timeframe, if you want to invest long term and dont care about short term price volatility, by all means invest same day. If you're looking to make a quick buck, then I wouldn't touch it for at least a month or more. RBLX is a good example, I waited till last thursday, presented a nice wedge pattern, went from 79 to 90 in 3 trading days.
