I was pretty lucky to sell off all tech positions to capture profits and consolidate down into my longterm tech hold (Tesla) before things got crazy. I still believe the commodities boom is reflective of temporary rona supply chain shocks so inflation narratives are overblown. I could be wrong. But Janet Yellen this week put the dagger into tech



Now I generate alpha in the much safer and less volatile crypto markets

So glad I sold my entire ARKG position at a profit and moved it into VTI

Cathie had no plan to counter it. She was still talkin 20%+ gains for '21 while her etfs were falling off a cliff.

Someone is going to say "what should she have done?" i don't run ETFs w/ billions of assets... she does. She needed to mitigate the losses sooner than she did. The "high conviction" chatter started after her funds were already clapped..

Shouldn't she have seen it coming? She has her whole ear to the street... That's why she's Harold.

agreed on inflation. Ample stimulus + lockdowns >>>>> pull forward demand on everything( plus supply chain fukk ups) which is inflationary but not hyper inflation everyone calling for.

I said something to the sort of placing stocks that are disruptive in industry into a higher percentage. Like instead of selling off apple/tsla/cat etc buy more of those and less of NNDM (just an example).....

Pardon my ignorance, have you guys gone to the coinbase site and started looking at the gainers and losers? Could we essentially look at these companies and invest the same way that we do traditional companies in the stock market?

Not saying don't put your money in crypto but that shyt is all speculative. What exactly are you "investing in"

there's maybe a few viable crypto assets the rest could crash at any second. At least with stocks u know what u are purchasing. That's not to say don't invest in crypto.. just don't be surprised if in the middle of the night your shyt coin died.
